Featured collection
Ocean Series
Oceanic pieces from the studio — sculpted reefs, shells, and shore-things. A growing series; every piece one of one.
The Soul Behind The Soil
Most of my pottery is hand-built: pinched, coiled, and slab-built, then carved, sculpted, dipped in glaze, and fired — and I take my time with every single piece.
From clay to kiln
Most pieces are hand-built and sculpted — coiled, pinched, and carved in the studio, then glazed and fired. The odd piece crosses the wheel.
Form
Most pieces begin as coils, slabs, or fistfuls of clay, shaped slowly by hand.
Sculpt
Curves are pressed, surfaces carved, and texture drawn straight into the clay.
Glaze & fire
Dipped, wiped, and fired in small monthly kiln batches.

Meet the maker
The Soul Behind The Soil
Most of my pottery is hand-built: pinched, coiled, and slab-built, then carved, sculpted, dipped in glaze, and fired — and I take my time with every single piece. The adornments and oddities come from the same place: slow work, gathered materials, things that feel like they were always meant to be here. It all grows out of my connection to the earth — and my hope is that holding a piece reminds you to slow down, and be one with nature.

In my own words
Each and every item found in nature is unique. No twig, stone, or shell you find can be duplicated; ergo, my hand-built vessels, adornments, and earthy oddities are made in similar fashion. Each and every earth design, every set of earrings, each piece of art is a handcrafted one-of-a-kind work of art. Even when recreated, no piece is identical to another. Everything you’ll see here is brought to you by one woman.
Elexix Dominique— self taught artist & soul creator behind 19 Meadows
The studio
A spare room, a worktable of clay and tools, and more shelves than I ever meant to build. Most of the pottery in the shop is hand-built, carved, dried, and fired here, all from these hands — you'll sometimes see works in progress before they ever reach the shop.
Why XiX? It's 19 in Roman numerals, pronounced “nineteen meadows.” XiX is the tail end of Elexix — my signature — 19 carries the energy of the sun: warmth, vitality, new beginnings.
Handmade care
Care instructions
Stoneware is sturdy, but a little care keeps the glazes bright and the clay happy for decades.
Vessels
Most vessels are not food safe unless the listing says otherwise.
Washing
Hand-wash only — never the dishwasher. Fire safe and heat resistant. Warm soapy water and a soft cloth keep matte glazes vivid and unchipped.
Avoid thermal shock
Never put cold water in a hot dish. Gradual temperature changes only.
What is crazing?
Fine lines in the glaze, called crazing, are a normal part of handmade stoneware and don't mean the piece is damaged. They're purely cosmetic.
Adornments & Oddities
Treat adornments and oddities as pieces of art.
Water
Never use in or around water.
Children
Not intended for children.
Sunlight
Don't leave pieces outside in direct sunlight for extended periods.

Shipping & policies
Flat, simple, and honest: every piece is packed by me in recycled materials.
Holiday 2026
Order by the holidays
One-of-one pieces need extra time to be packed carefully — please order fragile goods by December 10. Closer to Christmas, these USPS cutoffs are the last safe ship dates for delivery in time:
- December 17 — USPS Ground Advantage & First-Class Mail
- December 18 — USPS Priority Mail
- December 19 — USPS Priority Mail Express
Processing & packing
Pieces ship in 3–5 business days. Each one is wrapped in recycled paper and cushioned fibers, double-boxed, and marked fragile. Small goods like adornments and oddities travel in sturdy padded mailers — same flat rates. You'll get a tracking number the moment your order leaves the studio.
On insuring your order
Insured shipping is available on every order — and I encourage you to take it. Postal service is uncertain, and once a piece leaves the studio it's out of my hands. Insurance at checkout is the one thing that lets me make it right — replacement, credit, or refund — if a package is lost or damaged in transit.
Final sale
All sales are final — no returns or refunds. The one exception: if your piece arrives damaged and your order shipped insured, send photos of the damage and the packaging exactly as it arrived within 7 days — a refund can be issued. Most pieces are one of a kind, so replacement or repair isn't always possible. The packaging photos are required: the damage claim is filed with USPS, and they handle it from there.
